Help Tutorial

1. Home page help

1.Quickly Find Epigenetic Modifications and Their Patterns in Cancer.

2.Source of Data Used on the Website.

2. Search help

The search page is divided into three sections, each dedicated to searching for DNA methylation, histone modification, and lncRNA of interest.

DNA methylation

1.Select the disease names of interest.

2.Select the changes in DNA methylation levels in cancer.

3.Select the regions of DNA methylation in cancer.

4.Choose the expression levels of target genes.

5.Select the type of target genes.

6.Select target genes that have been experimentally proven to influence cancer onset and progression.

7.Select target genes with prognostic value.

8.This section is the search result.

9.Column selection, printing and downloading of DNA methylation of interest can be performed here.

Histone modification

1.Select the disease names of interest.

2.Select the type of histone modification.

3.Select changes in histone modification signals in cancer.

4.Select regions of histone modification in cancer.

5.Select changes in the expression levels of target genes.

6.Select the type of target genes.

7.Select target genes that have been experimentally proven to influence cancer onset and progression.

8.Select target genes with prognostic value.

9.This section is the search result.

10.Column selection, printing and downloading of DNA methylation of interest can be performed here.

LncRNA

1.Select the disease names of interest.

2.Select the cooperative regulation of lncRNA with other regulatory factors.

3.Select the genomic region of DNA methylation when co-regulating with lncRNA.

4.Select the type of histone modification when co-regulating with lncRNA.

5.Select the change in lncRNA expression level.

6.Select changes in the expression levels of target genes.

7.Choose the discovery method of key lncRNA regulation.

8.This section is the search result.

9.Column selection, printing and downloading of DNA methylation of interest can be performed here.

3. Conclusion page help

The 'Conclusion' page stores the distribution of DNA methylation and histone modification in different regions, as well as important conclusions related to DNA methylation and histone modification in cancer. These data are obtained through the analysis of epigenetic modification data in cancer.

Choose the analysis conclusion for the data of interest from the dropdown menu. After making your selection, click the 'Search' button to obtain relevant conclusions.

4. Tools page help

The 'Tools' page offers three tools: Hepatocellular Carcinoma Risk Assessment Tool, Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Tool, and Tumor Tissue Prediction Tool. Choose your preferred tool from the left side of the page.

Hepatocellular Carcinoma Risk Assessment Tool and Breast Cancer Risk Assessment Tool

1.Enter patient data based on the page instructions.

2.After clicking the search button, the patient's groups will be displayed here.

3.Based on the patient's grouping, refer to the survival analysis graph in this section to estimate the progression of the disease for the patient.

4.The source of the algorithm for the tools.

Tumor Tissue Prediction Tool

1.Select the type of disease from the dropdown menu. Enter patient data as per the on-screen instructions.

2.After clicking 'Search,' the predicted results will be displayed here.

3.The source of the algorithm for the tools.
